Overwatch League Atlanta Homstand is set to take place Saturday. The second so-called Homestand brings the Florida Mayhem, the New York Excelsior, and several more teams to the Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Here's what to expect from the competition.
Overwatch League Atlanta Homestand: What to Expect
The first game of the Atlanta Homestand will see the New York Excelsior facing off against the Florida Mayhem. This is as sure a win for the Excelsior as there may be all season. Florida has still failed to find its footing in the league, and Excelsior still leads the Atlantic division despite its stumbles.
Next up will be the Philadelphia Fusion against the Washington Justice. This should be another easy win, this time in favor of the Fusion, as the Justice are tied with Florida as the two last place teams in the league.
Third will be the battle of the same colors, as the Toronto Defiant take on the Atlanta Reign in the latter's first ever home game. This one will be hard to call, as the two teams are performing at around the same level. Expect a hard-fought series with the crowd firmly behind the Reign.
Finally, the Guangzhou Charge will play the Shanghai Dragons. This should be a competitive series, but Shanghai is poised to take home the win.
