Overwatch New Map: Everything We Know About Toronto

Overwatch's new map will be a major selling point with the release of Overwatch 2, as it is a scale replica of the City of Toronto. Here is everything we know so far about the upcoming Overwatch 2 map.

Overwatch Toronto Map

1. Downtown Toronto Will be the Focus

The new map will largely take place in downtown Toronto, the main entertainment and business area of the city. Fans are hoping that popular locations such as Kensington Market and the Ripley Aquarium will be featured as landmarks in the game. There will also be futuristic versions of the city's iconic streetcars and taxis.

2. Famous Buildings will be featured

Along with downtown Toronto, players will be able to fight their way through Toronto City Hall, as well as catch a glimpse of the world-famous CN Tower, most notably seen on the cover of Drake's

3. Nod to the Leafs

What's Toronto without the Maple Leafs? In front of City Hall, the map will feature a hockey rink complete with a massive statue of a Toronto Maple Leafs player, with some futuristic looking hockey pads as a nod to the city's favorite sports franchise. Given the city's recent NBA Championship, it wouldn't be surprising if the map gets an update to honor the Raptors in the near future.
