Overwatch Patch 1.43 will be pushed out to live servers next week, lead designer Jeff Kaplan announced in a Blizzard forum post. In addition to incorporating the hero adjustments and bug fixes in the current Overwatch PTR, Kaplan also confirmed that the highly anticipated Winter Wonderland event for 2019 will be included in the update.
Patch 1.43 will also replace the Skirmish gamemode that players could use to warm-up in between games with a similar feature called "While You Wait." Instead of being directly placed into a Skirmish lobby, players will be given the option to choose between the following gamemodes alone or with their party:
- Practice Range
- Skirmish
- Deathmatch
- Custom Game
Answer the call.

The most notable hero adjustments in the current PTR that will be moved into the live version of Overwatch as a part of Patch 1.43 are nerfs to the shields of both Tanks in the double-barrier meta. Orisa's Protective Barrier has had its health reduced from 900 to 600, while Sigma received a more significant nerf, with his Experimental Barrier having its health reduced from 1500 to 900 and will regenerate by 30 less health per second while inactive. Moira also received a nerf to her Biotic Grasp, as the its healing has been reduced from 80 HP per second to 65 HP per second.
