An Overwatch player using Wrecking Ball had a hilarious encounter with another Wrecking Ball. Reddit User Wiseman1996 was minding their own business and swinging around the payload as their team was about to win. But the enemy team stopped the playload from moving the last one meter to cap the point.

It seemed neither team was taking the last few minutes very seriously as when the Wrecking Ball started spinning around the payload, the enemy Wrecking Ball joined them.

While Watchpoint: Gibraltar is usually a nail-biter type of map, this game ended on a humorous note. What's strange is how close the payload is to the actual point and why the game didn't end and switch sides. For a split second, no enemy player is on the payload, but it doesn't move forward and end the half.

Luckily for us, that mechanic allowed for the spinning Wrecking Balls. Overwatch is in a bit of a lull as fans patiently wait for the launch of Overwatch 2, so expect more of these moments to occur. The community has seen some notorious players retire from competitive Overwatch like Jake and Pine, as the meta currently favors tanks and shields. DPS players are finding it difficult to stay relevant and moments of levity help those players cope with a boring meta.
