While Grinding Gear Games did release the official trailer for Path of Exile 2, there is no set release date for the highly anticipated sequel, as the game appears to still be fairly early in development. The developers have said that it is possible that the Path of Exile 2 Beta will begin in late 2020, although it is also possible that the beta will be pushed back to a later date. Due to the expected date of the beta release, it is very likely that Path of Exile will be released sometime during the first quarter of 2021.

Fans eagerly waiting out the sequel by continuing to play the original game won't have to worry, as Grinding Gear Games has assured players that the three-month cycle of expansions for the original Path of Exile will continue during development.
