The Astro C40 TR controller, an official PlayStation licensed product, comes with most third party features consumers expect on a controller: swappable parts for joysticks and the directional pad, trigger stops for first-person shooters, and buttons on the back so players can access face buttons without taking their thumbs off the sticks.
Here is a full list of contents the controller ships with on purchase:
- 2 Analog Stick Modules
- 2 Standard Height Concave Caps
- 1 D-Pad Module
- 1 D-Pad Plus Cover
- C40 TR Faceplate
- 2.0m USB Cable
An additional travel case ships with the following:
- C40 TR Tool for Assembly
- 2 Standard Height Domed Caps
- 1 Tall Height Concave Cap
- 1 Tall Height Domed Cap
- USB Wireless Transmitter
The features are similar to that of Scuf, but perhaps some prefer Astro's craftsmanship and brand to Scuf. To each their own.
The Astro C40 TR controller is compatible with PC as well and has a price tag of $199.99.
