Unfortunately, it does not appear that there will be an Android-compatible Backbone One – PlayStation Edition offering for the foreseeable future.

At the time of publication, the Backbone One for iPhone PlayStation Edition remains listed at a base price of $99.99 USD for orders on the Backbone website. Additionally, there hasn't yet been an official announcement made in regards to an Android version of it being on the way. Though it lacks the matching PS5 DualSense wireless controller face buttons, colors, materials and finishes, the Backbone One for Android does come with the same performance specs and features for gaming.

The Backbone One for Android works with App Store games and other game streaming services that support controllers, including Genshin Impact, Fantasian and Call of Duty: Mobile.

PS5 and PS4 game streaming is done entirely through the PS Remote Play app, which is said to be integrated heavily with the Backbone App.
