PlayStation Plus Essential: June 2022
1. God of War PS4
Released to critical acclaim back in 2018, God of War follows the ever-recognizable Kratos alongside his son Atreus, as they navigate ancient Scandinavia, journeying to the place where Kratos' wife and Atreus' mother wished for her ashes to be spread. Of course, this journey does not go undisturbed, as threats from Norse mythos will find their way to interfering with their plan. God of War has combat unlike any of the games before it, and the player has the option to passively control Atreus in combat. If you've never played God of War before, download it while you can; it is an experience like no other.
2. Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker
In Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, you can create your very own Shinobi and create a team to fight online in this action-fighting game. As you play, you'll learn new jutsus and obtain new weapons, and interact with the characters you've come to know and love throughout the series.
3. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is a crossover fighting game, featuring a diverse range of characters that Nickelodeon fans can recognize. From characters the most casual viewer can recognize like SpongeBob and Patrick, to older and more classic characters like Ren and Stimpy and Zim, All-Star Brawl has a diverse roster of characters for players to choose from. However, it isn't the roster that keeps people playing. All-Star Brawl has been praised for its gameplay, and while it has been criticized for its lack of content, the game has received updates since its release. For example, because it was criticized for its lack of voice acting, an update in June 2022 added English voice acting for all characters.
