Pokemon GO's fifth year anniversary kicked off on July 6 and will end on July 15 at 8 p.m. local time. Whether you're trying to encounter a Shiny Darumaka or receiving an abundance of Poke Balls, here's everything you need to know about this event.

Players can look forward to many exciting raid battles in the upcoming days. Pokemon GO will include Darumaka, Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie, and Flying Pikachu in one-star raids.

After finishing Field Research stories, every region starter Pokemon can be accessed in Pokestops with Lure Modules.

Trainers can also expect a Collection Challenge, which will reward you with a Flying Pikachu encounter, a Rare Candy, and an abundance of Poke Balls.

Pokemon GO's 5th year anniversary will also include a Jump-Start Special Research quest, which will help trainers level up. This quest can reward players with a high amount of Stardust, experience points, and special Pokemon encounters.

This event will also let players receive fifth-anniversary stickers when spinning a Pokestop and revealing their gifts.

Trainers should also look out for in-game fireworks and a Shiny Meltan after activating a Mystery Box.
