Niantic says some of these Pokémon will appear in Shiny form, but hasn't specified which.

Throughout the event, Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons. Players will be able to use a Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration.

A one-time-purchase event bundle costing 1,275 PokéCoins contains the following items:

  • 10 Max Potions
  • 10 Max Revives

Pokémon GO All-Hands Rocket Retreat Field Research Task Encounters

Finally, players will be able to run into Sneasel — potentially in Shiny form — for competing Field Research tasks. If they're lucky, they'll encounter Scraggy.
