Pokémon GO's April 20 Spotlight Hour will revolve around Grimer. It is the third Spotlight Hour event this month and comes alongside a variety of other events, including the New Pokémon Snap Crossover Event and Sustainability Week, for the month of April.

Niantic introduced Spotlight Hour to Pokémon GO in 2020. It has since been one of the most popular recurring events in the augmented reality mobile game.

According to a post on the Pokémon GO website, April's Spotlight Hour events will take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time. Players looking to take part in the April 20 event should mark their calendars and be prepared to hunt down Grimers. They are Poison-Type Pokémon that eventually evolve into Muk. Grimer has another form, Alolan Grimer, which is similar to a shiny version of the Pokémon.

During the April 20 Spotlight Hour event, Pokémon GO players will earn double Stardust for catching Pokémon. Stardust is a consumable that allows trainers to strengthen their Pokémon and is also used for trading. Power ups cost between 200 to 15,000 Stardust, so the upcoming Spotlight Hour event offers a great chance for players to stock up on this highly useful resource.
