How to Catch a Ditto in Pokémon GO

As a part of April Fools, Pokémon GO is celebrating by changing Ditto into different Pokémon, per the Pokémon GO blog. This will happen all day, and you even have the chance to get a shiny one!

From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in your local time, multiple Pokémon will appear in the wild. Some may be Ditto, but you won't know until it is revealed to you. These Pokemon include Ekans, Gastly, Natu, Surskit, Finneon, Dwebble, and Swirlix. Of these, Ekans, Gastly, Natu, and Dwebble can be found as shiny versions throughout the event.

By spinning PokéStops and unveiling your Gifts, you can receive unique stickers for this event. They are also available for purchase. While they don't provide any in-game benefits, these stickers can be added to gifts you send to friends.

Taking part in this event can increase your chances of getting Ditto and other shiny versions of Pokémon. Don't miss out on this event!
