Pokemon GO Battle League Season 3 dates are important to monitor for those wanting to top each league.
Niantic Labs has been hyping its player base for the next competitive season of the Pokemon GO Battle League. The newest season coincides with the launch of the Pokemon GO Fest, picking up almost directly after it ended, which might have led to some confusion. In all the event-driven fun, where does the Go Battle League fit in?
Here's everything you need to know about Season 3.
Pokemon GO Battle League Season 3
The start date for the new competitive season of the Pokemon GO Battle League was July 27. Season 3 officially began yesterday at the time of writing.
The Great League will run from July 27 through to Aug. 10, beginning and ending at 4 p.m.
The Ultra League will pick up afterward—Aug. 10 to Aug 24—also beginning and ending at 4 p.m. Its Premier Cup will run alongside it with a CP cap of 2500.
The Master League starts on the heels of the Ultra League—Aug. 24 to Sept. 7—with the same time frame. Its Premier Cup will be running alongside this tier, as well, with no CP cap.
All three leagues will be available from Sept. 7 to Sept. 14 at 4 p.m. Once this season concludes, Season 4 will begin immediately following its closure.
The walking requirement is suspended through Season 3 and trainers only need to be of "Good Friends" status to battle each other remotely. Additionally, trainer QR codes can be scanned to battle wherever they are. Otherwise, there are no significant changes.
