Pokemon GO Battle League Season 9 Rank Rewards and Encounters: Full List

We've broken down exactly what rewards and encounters players can expect as they make their way through the Pokemon GO Battle League Season 9.

The Pokemon GO Battle League Season 9 kicks off today and, like its previous iterations, is full of unique rewards for hard working trainers. Each tier and rank-up provides an opportunity to encounter and capture a rare, powerful Pokemon that can be added to the team—alongside a set of avatar items. Below, we've explained all the cosmetic and creature rewards for Season 9.

GO Battle League Season 9 Rank Rewards: Full List

Trainers are guaranteed to run into the following Pokemon at least once at each listed rank:

• Rank 1: (shiny) Charizard
• Rank 6: Mienfoo
• Veteran: Noibat
• Expert: (shiny) Deino
• Legend: (shiny) Pikachu Libre

Additionally, each group of ranks will feature the following standard encounters as rewards:

• Rank 1+: Charmeleon, Hypno, (shiny) Sableye, Solosis, Gothita, Nidorina
• Rank 6+: Mienfoo
• Rank 11+: Rhydon, Litwick, Frillish, Seismitoad, Drifblim
• Rank 16+: (shiny) Snorlax, (shiny) Rufflet, Scraggy
• Rank 20+: All five-star Raid bosses
• Veteran: Noibat
• Expert: (shiny) Deino

Trainers who manage to hit Rank 19 will receive an Elite Charged TM, plus a bonus Elite Fast TM at the end of the season.

This season, aside from the traditional Pikachu Libre avatar items that unlock at Rank 3, trainers can look forward to styling their character just like Galar-region Champion, Leon, from Pokemon Sword and Shield. Each major tier ascension will be marked by a new Leon-themed item.

The avatar rewards will be credited as follows:

• Ace: Reigning Champion Sport Glove
• Veteran: Leon’s Look Sport Cap
• Expert: Reigning Champion Sport Shorts
• Legend: Reigning Champion Sport Top, Leon Pose (mid-season)
