Pokémon GO Cobalion hour will begin on March 17, as the legendary Pokémon becomes available in raids. As part of the content planned for Pokémon GO, Niantic Labs planned Cobalion's raid event plus a Spotlight Hour on the same day.
Players will be able to catch an unannounced Pokémon set to spawn more frequently at 6 p.m. local time.
Pokémon GO Cobalion Hour: When Does Cobalion Join the Raid Tiers?
Players will be able to start catching Cobalion at 4 p.m. ET. Both the splotlight hour and new legendary Pokémon should gie players something to do after Niantic Labs canceled the Community Day because of the Coronavirus pandemic. Instead, they released a Winter Box with 30 Incenses for the price of one PokeCoin.
Niantic Labs also increased the Incense time to one hour instead of 30 minutes. Besides the Incense box, players will have three more bonuses:
- 1/2 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during this time period
- PokéStops will now drop Gifts more frequently
- Pokémon habitats will increase and more Pokémon will be appearing in the wild
