Pokemon GO Deoxys Defense Guide
Pokemon GO's Deoxys Defense Forme will be available in high-level raid encounters. Known for its high stats and varied move set, this particular form of Deoxys is a large advantage for any Pokemon GO team.
Players will be able to catch Deoxys in its Defense Forme during a Raid Hour on July 7 from 6 p.m to 7 p.m local time. Alternatively, players can also try to encounter this Psychic-type Pokemon from July 1 to July 16. Deoxys can be encountered in five-star raids.
Deoxys' go-to moves in its Defense Forme are Counter, Zen Headbutt, and Thunderbolt.
This Psychic-type is effective against Fighting- and Poison-type Pokemon.

Pokemon GO Deoxys Defense Guide
Players should use Bug-, Dark-, and Ghost-type Pokemon when battling Deoxys. Here's a list of the best counter Pokemon to use against Deoxys:
- Gengar
- Chandelure
- Zoroark
- Weavile
- Absol
- Darkrai
- Giratina
- Volcarona
- Banette
- Kyrurem
Along with Deoxys' Defense Forme, there are three additional versions of this Pokemon, consisting of a Normal, Attack, and Speed phase.
There is also a Shiny Deoxys available in Pokemon GO, and its color schemes consist of yellow and green.
In addition to Deoxys' Defense Forme, players will also be able to catch Mewtwo on July 21 and Mega Charizard X on July 23.
The Pokemon GO Fest will be held on July 17 and July 18, featuring Research Breakthrough quests, Legendary Pokemon encounters, and many rewards.
