Pokemon GO extra egg storage may be making the jump into the live game after a few test drives.
Niantic Labs announced they would be soon initiating a few trials regarding extra Raid Battle rewards, and Egg Management in a post on their Pokemon GO news blog published Dec. 9. Not all trainers would be affected by these changes and only a few tests would be uploaded globally. Below, we've listed all the changes trainers can expect to experience.
Pokemon GO Extra Egg Storage
Test concerning extra storage and hatching slots with Egg Management will come in two variations. They are slated to begin on Dec. 11 at 5 p.m. EST and will continue "for an indefinite amount of time."
In both variations, trainers will be able to store up to three extra eggs from Adventure Sync rewards or Team GO Rocket Leader battles. Additionally, these eggs won't count toward a trainer's total Pokemon count until they're placed in Incubators.
The change between the two versions is purely visual. One group of trainers will have their extra eggs under common storage while the other will find theirs in a separate tab labeled "Bonus Storage." However, interactions with them will remain the same.
According to trainer feedback, more similar tests may be implemented in the future along with a greater amount of trainers.
