Pokemon Go Ground Event: Shiny Diglett Added and Groudon Returns to Raids
By Max Mallow

Pokemon Go ground event was started Monday after Pokemon Go and Ingress players completed an Earth Day challenge set by Niantic Labs.
Focusing primarily on Pokemon GO, the augmenting reality company behind the game set out to give players milestone rewards for participating in Earth Day activities.
"By participating in these Earth Day cleanups and learning more about local NGOs, players can have a larger impact on their communities and the health of the planet. Long term impact projects include educational initiatives for school programs and community organizations, as well as replacing pollution with new plants," Yennie Solheim Fuller, social impact at Niantic Labs, said in a blog post.
Pokemon GO players have hit the milestone so here's everything you need to know about the Ground Event.
