The first Pokemon GO January 2020 community day is scheduled to kick off on Jan. 19.
Niantic stated in its 2019 Year in Review blog post that the next Community Day event will be held Jan. 19, and will also come with a handful of sweet bonuses from 11:00 a.m to 2 p.m. such as bonus stardust, bonus catch XP and more.
Pokemon GO January 2020 Community Day: When Does the First Day Start?
Depending on what hemisphere you live in, the first Pokemon GO Community Day of the new decade will be held at different times.
For those living in the Northern Hemisphere, the event will be held Sunday, Jan. 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in your local time zone. As for those living in the Southern Hemisphere, the event will be held Sunday, Jan. 19 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in your local time zone.
Niantic hasn't stated what Pokemon will be featured, and has encouraged trainers to guess which Pokemon will be involved. Fans have been frantic to catch new additions during the Winter event such as Cryogonal and Cubchoo.
