Pokemon GO's June Raid Weekend begins on June 12 at 10 a.m. and ends on June 13 at 8 p.m. local time. Whether it's discovering new Pokemon or receiving bonus candy, players can enjoy many surprises during this special Pokemon GO weekend.

Pokemon GO's June raid weekend features Mega Slowbro in Mega raids, as well as Galarian Slowpoke, Alolan Grimer, Shellder, Timburr, and Shinx in one-star raids. Players can also enter three-star raids and catch Snorlax, Slowking, Toxicroak, and Slaking.
As for five-star raids, players should expect to encounter Registeel, Regice, and Regirock.

Pokemon GO fans can also receive double the amount of candy after catching any Pokemon. Players that are least at level 40 can receive more Candy XL after catching any Pokemon.
There is also a higher likelihood of entering raid battles during this special weekend event.
Along with many raid battles, Pokemon GO's June raid weekend will also wrap up A Very Slow Discovery Challenge, which includes Timed Research tasks and a Collection Challenge.
From encountering Galarian Slowpoke to making Slowbro your buddy Pokemon, this event has various activities for trainers. A Very Slow Discovery challenge will also let players receive 3,000 bonus experience points, 30 Ultra Balls, and a Slowpoke Forever shirt for your avatar.
