Below you will find a list of all of the Kanto Tour Research Tasks and how you can complete each of them:

Before you can begin your tour through the Kanto region of Pokémon, players will be prompted to choose between one of two routes. The Red route and the Green route. The challenges are relatively the same for both routes but the rewards will be different. So be sure to choose your path wisely, because you won't be able to change your mind afterwards.

Red Route:

Step 1

• Claim Reward - 10 PokéBalls
• Claim Reward - 3 Razz Berries
• Claim Reward - 3 Potions

Rewards for completing this step: 150 XP, 3 Incense and a Charmander encounter

Step 2

• Use Incense - 50 PokéBalls
• Catch 30 Pokémon - Tangela encounter
• Take a snapshot of Charmander - 1 Poffin

Rewards: 25 Charmander Candies, 50 PokéBalls and a Chansey encounter

Step 3

• Earn 3 hearts with your buddy - 300 Stardust
• Catch 30 Pokémon - 500 XP
• Evolve a Charmander - 25 Charmander Candies

Rewards: 2 Incense, 25 Ultra Balls and a Cubone encounter

Step 4

• Use an Incense - 1 Incubator
• Send 3 Gifts - 5 Pinap Berries
• Trade 3 times - 25 Charmander Candies

Rewards for completing this step: 500 Stardust, 25 Cubone Candies and a Lickitung encounter

Step 5

• Make 3 Nice Throws in a row - Aerodactyl encounter
• Catch 10 different species of Pokémon - 1 Star Piece
• Use 20 Berries to help catch Pokémon - 25 Charmander Candies

Rewards for completing this step: 1 Premium Battle Pass, 25 Cubone Candies and a Snorlax encounter

Step 6

• Make 3 Nice Throws in a row - 25 Charmander Candies
• Battle in 3 raids - 20 Mewtwo Candies
• Evolve 1 Pokémon - 1 Tour Cap

Rewards for completing this step: 1 Fast TM , 1 Charged TM and a Lapras encounter

Step 7

• Catch 30 Pokémon - 3000 XP
• Catch 15 different species of Pokémon - 3 Rare Candies
• Transfer 20 Pokémon - 3000 XP

Rewards for completing this step: 1 Lure Module, 1 Lucky Egg and a shiny Ditto encounter

Step 8

• Claim Reward - 3000 XP
• Claim Reward - 3000 Stardust
• Claim Reward - 3000 XP

Rewards for completing this step: 20 Ditto Candies, 20 Mew Candies and 10 Ditto Stickers

Green Route:

Step 1

• Claim Reward - 10 PokéBalls
• Claim Reward - 3 Razz Berries

Step 3

Step 4

Step 8

• Claim Reward - 3000 XP

Upon completing either of these routes, players will receive a commemorative Red/Green cap for their character as well as a chance to catch the extremely rare legendary Pokémon, Mew. You definitely do not want to miss out on a chance to add Mew to your Pokédex.
