Pokemon GO orange incense is a new addition to the game that has confused many players. It's not just an aesthetic change, as the orange incense means a special event is coming to Pokemon GO.

Normally, the incense in Pokemon GO is green and white. When a player utilizes the incense, Pokemon will automatically be attracted to their trainer at a rate of one Pokemon-per-minute.

Recently, though, some players noticed that their incense had become orange. The orange incense signifies that there is a special event, such as Incense Day or Community Day, coming up soon.

During these days when the incense is a strange color, only certain types of Pokemon will be attracted to a player. For example, a previous event caused the incense to attract only Dark-type Pokemon and Water-type Pokemon, depending on what time of day it was.

Whenever a player sees their incense changing color, they should get excited and know that a new event is just over the horizon.

Players should also check out other big news from Pokemon GO, like the shop white screen fix, and new content like Shiny Gastly and Shiny Buizel.
