Pokemon GO Perfect Mewtwo: How to Catch

Pokemon GO perfect Mewtwo is on every trainer's radar with the new raids taking effect. After the cancellation of the first Mewtwo-centric raid, players were wondering just when they would have the chance to make this long-teased experimental Pokemon part of their combat team. That time has now finally come to pass—Mewtwo awaits! The only question left now is: what makes a perfect Mewtwo?

Here's everything you need to know about the perfect Mewtwo.

Pokemon GO Perfect Mewtwo

The perfect Mewtwo will have a CP of 2275 or above upon capture and 15 in Attack, Defense and Stamina for perfect IV's. Its CP cap is just over 4000 and it's maximum health points should reach at least 200 to be considered near-perfect.

Mewtwo is a psychic-type powerhouse sporting an invulnerably high combat power amount. For this hour make-up, all Mewtwos you catch will have the move Psystrike, so you don't really need to worry about the moveset for this capture unless you've got your eye on a particular move. For those considering this, Confusion is the often favored quick move.

Keep in mind that Mewtwo only has a 2% capture rate after raids. It may take trainers a few encounters to take one home, so coordinating with other local trainers is key. Shiny versions of this Pokemon will also be available during raids.

Some great counters to take down Mewtwo are primarily dark, ghost and bug types such as Gengar, Houndoom and Pinsir.
