Pokémon GO Rayquaza 2023: How To Catch

Pokémon GO players have the opportunity to catch the third legendary of Generation III in Raid Battles while playing their game.
Rayquaza is a Dragon- and Flying-type legendary Pokémon who comes from the Hoenn region, and in the games set in Hoenn, Rayquaza is the Pokémon that has power over Kyogre and Groudon, the other legendaries from that region that have found their way into Pokémon GO.
The Sky High Pokémon has been encounter-able in Pokémon GO since Feb. 2018, with the release of the Hoenn Celebration event. The shiny form of this Pokémon, a notable fan favorite, was not released until over a year past its original form's.

Pokémon GO Rayquaza 2023: How To Catch
Rayquaza can be found in Raid Battles taking place in any Gym that players come across. It should be noted that being a rare lgendary Pokémon, it will be hard to find a raid battle that Rayquaza will be the opponent in, but once it is found, players should challenge it with any of their strong Ice-type Pokémon, as Rayquaza is incredibly weak to ice types.
Players with Pokémon of this type will find themselves at a strong advantage when facing Rayquaza, and should make sure their Ice-types are trained up to prepare for this fight against the legendary Pokémon.
Pokémon GO is highlighting Hoenn Pokémon during their Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn - Las Vegas event that players had the chance to buy tickets for earlier this year, with the event going global soon.
