Pokemon GO Research Breakthrough October 2019

From 4 p.m. on Sept. 1 to 4 p.m. on Nov. 1, players will have the opportunity to encounter and unique Eevee wearing a bunch of flowers on its head. Similar to the "hat" Pikachu, this cosmetic addition will remain with the Pokémon despite any evolutionary form it takes. The shiny version of this particular Eevee will also be available in completed research task encounters for a few lucky trainers.

The addition of the flowers also has no bearing on the evolution the eevee will take.

This cosmetic eevee is actually something players have been looking forward to for a good amount of time. Eevee has appeared more than once wearing some assortment of flowers on its head. Trainers have gone on to affectionately nickname the pokémon "Flower Crown Eevee."
