Pokémon GO’s Lunar New Year Event Raids Explained

The Lunar New Year has begun, and Pokémon Go has an in-game Year of the Tiger themed event to go along with it.

This year, the Lunar New Year is the Year of the Tiger, which symbolizes strength, courage, and wisdom.

The Pokémon Go event begins Feb. 2 and runs until Feb. 7 and features a lot of event bonuses and new spawns, including the debut of a Shiny Litleo.

Pokémon Go Lunar New Year Event Bonuses

In addition to the huge list of Pokémon spawns above, players will also have a chance to get new event bonuses for the next week.

1. Players will have an increased chance of obtaining Lucky Pokémon from trades.

2. Players will have an increased chance of becoming Lucky Friends with another player

3. Players will earn double the usual amount of Stardust they usually get from opening gifts.

4. Players will be able to make one additional special trade per day.
