Pokemon GO Safari Zone event in Philadelphia is rapidly approaching and tickets are starting to sell out. There are a number of special rewards and perks for taking place in this special event—including, of course, the chance to catch rare Pokemon. Are you still wondering if heading all the way out to Pennsylvania is right for you?

Here's the top five Pokemon to look out for between bites of cheesesteak.

5 Best Pokemon to Catch in Philadelphia

1. Mr. Mime

This is a no-brainer. Mr. Mime is a region Pokemon—meaning it can only be found in certain parts of the world. Attendees to the Safari Zone will be able to catch him for the duration of the event no matter where in the world they came from. So, if you have yet to add a Mr. Mime to your PokeDex, now is the time.

2. Unown P

Not everyone is an Unown collector, of course, but those who are know just how rare it is to encounter a letter they haven't seen before. Long gone are the days running through the same system of caves to create a whole alphabet on a Sunday afternoon. It's unknown whether trainers will have a chance to find this Unown again, so this opportunity shouldn't be missed.

3. Rufflet

Niantic Labs planned a clear theme with this event. Have you noticed something all announced Pokemon have in common? If not, perhaps this entry will seal the deal. Rufflet evolves into Braviary, which is the most patriotic Pokemon we've seen released into GO. Braviary and Rufflet are the featured Pokemon of this event—and rare spawns, themselves.

4. Shiny Voltorb

While we can't guarantee you'll see a shiny Voltorb, the Pokemon GO team certainly haven't been shy about it. Could there been an increased chance of finding this variant wandering the streets of Philadelphia? It appears likely. Shiny Hunters should keep this Pokemon on their radar if they haven't already.

5. Bronzor

Bronzor is a Pokemon that was released alongside the rest of the Sinnoh generation. Diamond and Pearl players should remember this guy causing major headache up in the mountains if they didn't have a good fire-type by their side. In GO, Bronzor remains a decent steel-type. It's type match-up is bound to be useful to trainers specializing in PvE and PvP content later on.
