Pokemon GO Season 9 Great League Remix Details

The Great League Remix will run from Aug. 30 to Sept. 13.

Trainers will not be allowed to use the 20 most popular Pokemon on Ace-ranked teams last Season. This list includes:

  • Deoxys (Defense Forme)

Pokemon GO Season 9 Ultra League Remix Details

The Ultra League Remix will run from Sept. 13 to Sept. 27.

Trainers will not be allowed to use the 10 most popular Pokemon found on Ace-ranked teams last season. This list includes:

  • Clefable
  • Cresselia
  • Empoleon
  • Giratina (Altered Forme)
  • Melmetal
  • Obstagoon
  • Swampert
  • Talonflame
  • Togekiss

Pokemon GO Season 9 Ultra League Premier Classic Details

The Ultra League Premier Classic will run from Oct. 25 to Nov. 8. Trainers will be allowed to bring six Pokemon instead of the traditional three.

As with all tournaments sporting the suffix "Classic," the Ultra League Premier Classic cup in Season 9 is only open to Pokemon caught and maintained under trainer level 40. In other words—only Pokemon who have not been given XL Candies can be entered. This cup was developed in order to level the playing field between players above and below level 50 with the addition of XL Candies earlier this year.

Additionally, as signaled by the word "Premier," only non-mythical/legendary Pokemon will be allowed to enter.

Entered Pokemon must be at or below 2500 CP.

Pokemon GO Season 9 Master League Classic Details

The Master League Classic will run from Sept. 27 to Oct. 11.

Only Pokemon maintained under trainer level 40 and never given XL Candies can be used.

This cup features a tripled Stardust reward buff.

Pokemon GO Season 9 Master League Premier Classic Details

The Master League Premier Classic will run from Nov. 8 to Nov. 22. Trainers will be allowed to bring six Pokemon instead of the traditional three.

Only Pokemon under trainer level 40—unexposed to XL Candies—that are not Mythical or Legendary will be able to enter.

This cup features a tripled Stardust reward buff.

Pokemon GO Season 9 Little Jungle Cup Details

The Little Jungle Cup will run from Sept. 27 to Oct. 11.

This cup is only open to Pokemon 500 CP and below, regardless of evolution. However, only the following types will be permitted:

  • Bug
  • Dark
  • Electric
  • Flying
  • Grass
  • Ground
  • Normal
  • Poison

Shuckle and Smeargle are prohibited from entry.

This cup features a tripled Stardust reward buff.

Pokemon GO Season 9 Halloween Cup Details

The Halloween Cup will run from Oct. 15 to Nov. 2.

Only Pokemon at or below 1500 CP are allowed to participate. Additionally, only the following types are permitted:

  • Bug
  • Dark
  • Fairy
  • Ghost
  • Poison

Pokemon GO Season 9 Special Cup: Player's Choice Details

The Special Cup: Player's Choice will run from Nov. 8 to Nov. 22.

This cup's theme has yet to be decided. Niantic Labs encouraged its playerbase to let the development team know which prior theme they'd like to see make a return in this slot.
