Pokemon GO Sierra January 2023: How to Beat
When fighting one of the three Team Rocket leaders, there are seven Pokemon that trainers will have to counter. There will be one main starter Pokemon, and the last two phases can have three different Pokemon selections.
First Pokemon: Sableye
Sierra will use Sableye in the first phase, which is a Dark-type Pokemon. Players should utilize Fairy-type Pokemon as counters in the first phase.
- Gardevoir - Charm and Dazzling Gleam
- Alakazam - Psycho Cut and Dazzling Gleam
- Togekiss - Charm and Dazzling Gleam
Second Pokemon: Cacturne, Flygon or Honchkrow
Pokemon GO trainers may face Cacturne, Flygon or Honchkrow. Cacturne is a Grass- and Dark-type Pokemon, while Flygon is a Dragon- and Ground-type Pokemon. Honchkrow is a Dark- and Flying-type Pokemon.
- Cacturne Counter: Lucario - Counter and Aura Sphere
- Flygon Counter: Weavile - Snarl and Avalanche
- Honchkrow Counter: Gardevoir - Charm and Dazzling Gleam
Third Pokemon: Houndoom, Cradily or Snorlax
Houndoom is a Dark- and Fire-type Pokemon, while Cradily is a Rock- and Grass-type Pokemon. Trainers may also face Snorlax, which is a Normal-type Pokemon.
- Houndoom Counter: Conkeldurr - Counter and Dynamic Punch
- Cradily Counter: Lucario - Bullet Punch and Aura Sphere
- Snorlax Counter: Terrakion - Double Kick and Sacred Sword
