Pokémon GO Snover Spotlight Hour Makeup Event will give you another chance to catch Snover if your original Spotlight Hour had an issue. Here's everything you need to know about the Snover makeup event.
Pokémon GO Snover Spotlight Hour Makeup Event Detailed
There will be another Snover Spotlight Hour for GMT +11, GMT +12 and GMT +13 on Jan. 11. Like normal Spotlight Hours, for just an hour at 6 p.m. local time, Snover will appear in the wild more often. In addition to finding lots of Snover, all players get double Catch XP, double Lucky Egg time and double Evolution XP.
If you're looking for Shiny Snover, the Spotlight Hours do not give a bonus to finding one. You'll still be working with the normal Shiny rate of one every 450 encounters. Shiny Pokémon don't appear on the map as Shiny, so you'll actually have to engage each Snover you see.
It'll be worth your time gathering Snover, even if you don't get a Shiny. Its evolved form, Abomasnow, is is in Mega Raids, so you'll want to get a strong one in preparation. The unique Grass- and Ice-Type lets Abomasnow do well in the Great and Ultra League.
