Pokemon GO Spotlight Hour April

Every Spotlight Hour is different. For April, there will be four Spotlight Hours, the first being Tuesday, April 7.

  • Tuesday, April 7, 2020: Purrloin will be in the spotlight, and you’ll earn twice the XP for catching Pokémon.
  • Tuesday, April 14, 2020: Magnemite will be in the spotlight, and you’ll earn twice the Candy for catching Pokémon.
  • Tuesday, April 21, 2020: Wobbuffet will be in the spotlight, and you’ll earn twice the Candy for transferring Pokémon.
  • Tuesday, April 28, 2020: Pidgey will be in the spotlight, and you’ll earn twice the XP for evolving Pokémon.

The developers of Pokemon GO have also created Mystery Bonus Hour, which occurs at the same time every Thursday. During this time, a surprise Pokemon will appear more frequently, the only catch is, unlike Spotlight Hour where the Pokemon is announced ahead of time, the Pokemon will remain a secret until the event begins.
