Pokemon GO's Spotlight Hours in August 2021 feature frequent spawns of special Pokemon once a week, letting trainers fill their Pokedex and gain exciting bonuses. Pokemon GO Spotlight Hours Guide in August 2021
Pokemon GO's Spotlight Hour events occur every Tuesday, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time. Players will be able to catch Magnemite on Aug. 3 and earn double the amount of Stardust after catching Pokemon.
East Sea Shellos will be featured on Aug. 10 and players can earn twice the amount of Candy for this event. Trainers can also catch West Sea Shellos on Aug. 17 and gain twice the amount of Candy.
Niantic also revealed that players will be able to catch a certain Pokemon and gain twice the amount of Candy for transferring Pokemon on Aug. 24. Trainers can also catch a specific Pokemon on Aug. 31 and earn double the amount of experience points.
Along with these Spotlight Hour events, players can also participate in a Raid Hour event, which will feature Dialga and Palkia raids in August.
