A Pokémon GO vote will allow players to decide which Pokémon will be available on Community Day in February. Here's what you need to know.

Pokémon GO Vote Allows Players Input on February Community Day

Players have four options for the next Community Day: Vulpix, Machop, Rhyhorn and Dratini. Each will come with its own special moves should it be chosen for the Community Day.

Vulpix will bring with it Alolan Vulpix in field research and raid battles. Evolving Vulpix or Alolan Vulpix into Ninetales or Alolan Ninetales will produce Pokémon with the Weather Ball move. Ninetales will learn Fire-Type Weather Ball, and Alolan Ninetales will learn Ice-Type Weather Ball. Shiny Vulpix will be available for the first time in Pokémon GO.

Machop will be able to evolve into Machamp with the exclusive Dark-Type attack Payback.

Rhyhorn will evolve into Rhyperior with the exclusive Rock-Type attack Rock Wrecker. Shiny Rhyhorn will be available for the first time in Pokémon GO.

Dratini will evolve into Dragonite with the Fighting-Type charged attack Superpower.

Catching 20 Pokémon as a field research task Saturday will earn players a vote for the Pokémon of their choice. PokéStops also offer voting-related research tasks.

Players can complete more than one voting research task.

Niantic will announce the winning Pokémon Monday, Feb. 3. Community Day will take place Feb. 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time in the northern hemisphere — 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the southern hemisphere — with a triple Catch Stardust featured bonus.
