Pokemon GO Water Festival 2022 Raids

The Pokemon GO 2022 Water Festival will begin on May 12, at 10:00 a.m. local time. When it begins, an exciting amount of Pokemon will begin appearing in low star, high star, and mega raids. This article goes over the Pokemon you can expect to see in raids once the event officially begins.

Pokemon GO 2022 Water Festival Raids

The Pokemon that will be appearing in raids are as follows:

One-Star Raids

  • Heliopile
  • Qwilfish
  • Rockruff
  • Spritzee

Three-Star Raids

  • Alolan Raichu
  • Azumarill
  • Feraligatr
  • Lapras
  • Ludicolo

Five-Star Raids

  • Tapu Fini

Mega Raids

  • Mega Blastoise

Alolan Raichu, Lapras, Mega Blastoise, Rockruff, Qwilfish, and Wailmer will all have a chance to be shiny. All other Pokemon featured in these raids will only appear in their base forms. If you want to read more about shiny Pokemon in Pokemon GO, click here.

For Lapras fans, the chance to be shiny is not the only thing to be excited about. For the 2022 Pokemon GO Water Festival, Lapras will be appearing in a costume for the duration of the event. Until May 20, players will have a chance to catch Lapras wearing a scarf in both its base form and shiny form. Players will also have a chance to catch Lapras wearing a scarf in Field Research encounters.

The Pokemon GO Water Festival will officially conclude on May 20, 8:00 p.m. local time.
