Pokemon Go Weekly Rewards: How to Get Them
Pokemon Go's Adventure Sync feature allows you track progress of your walking even when the game is not open, allowing you to hatch your Pokemon eggs even faster, and will allow you to earn some cool rewards. Once a week, Pokemon Go will look at your fitness app and will calculate the distance t hat you have walked. Based on how far you have walked, you will earn a reward. You can earn rewards for walking 5 km, 25 km, or 50 km.
If you have walked 5 km (3.1 miles), you will earn 20 Poke Balls as a reward. If you have walked 25 km (15.5 miles), then your rewards are a little more random. You will earn 20 Poke Balls, 10 Great Balls, and either 500 Stardust, one Rare Candy, or a 5 km egg. If you have walked 50 km (31 miles), you will earn 20 Poke Balls, 10 Great Balls, and either 1500 Stardust, three Rare Candies, a 5 km egg, or a 10 km egg.
To activate your Adventure Sync, you will need to be a level five trainer or above. If you are on iOS, you need to open the Health app. Then you need to select the Sources option, and tap on the option that displays Pokemon Go. This will prompt another menu, where you need to select "Turn All Categories On" and the sync will be enabled. If you are on Android, all you need to do is activate Adventure Sync in the settings menu, select a Google Account to use with Adventure Sync, and then allow Pokemon go to read your data from Google Fit when prompted to accept.
