Pokémon Home's release date has been set to February 2020, per a Nintendo Direct broadcast Thursday. Nintendo has yet to choose an exact date.
Pokémon Home Release Date Narrowed to February
Pokémon Home will allow players to store Pokémon they catch from various games in the franchise using cloud storage. Players will then have access to their Pokémon from their mobile devices.
Players will be able to transfer their stored Pokémon to other games, though there are limits on how Pokémon can be stored and transferred.
Pokémon Home will allow players to store Pokémon from Pokémon GO, Pokémon Bank, Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!, and Pokémon Sword and Shield. Once stored, Pokémon will only be able to be deployed into Pokémon Sword and Shield.
Furthermore, only Galar region Pokémon will be able to move from Bank to Sword and Shield.
Pokémon Bank will be a paid service, but Nintendo has yet to reveal pricing information. The publisher will share more as the release date approaches.
