Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX's release date has officially been confirmed by Nintendo and set for early March. Here's what you need to know.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX Release Date
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX, the remake of 2005's Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team and Red Rescue Team, is set to be released for the Nintendo Switch on March 6, 2020. In the lead up to that date, players can try out the game via a demo on the Nintendo eShop released Jan. 9.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX puts players in the role of a human who has mysteriously transformed into a Pokémon. The game assigns each player a Pokémon from a list of 16 based on their answers to a personality test. After being assigned a Pokémon, players can choose a second to be their companion.
Once in-game, players complete jobs picked up from a variety of sources that send them into dungeons to explore. Each dungeon is randomly generated, and fights in the dungeons are turn-based.
In the demo, players can receive their Pokémon identity and partner, and play the first few quests on the game.
