PUBG Console Patch 6.2 Release Delayed
Although PUBG Corp did not specify the technical issues that caused the delay, the announcement comes just a day after PUBG Console Patch 6.2 was released onto the Public Test Server.
Console players are familiar with patch delays due to technical issues, with the release of the PTS update for PUBG Console Patch 6.1 was delayed by almost a day due to unnamed technical issues.

The team is currently working to resolve this as quickly as possible and we will provide an update once the PTS is opened.
But the delay of a patch by a full week after just a day after its release on the PTS is almost unprecedented for PUBG Corp and console players.
What to Expect on PUBG Console Patch 6.2
Console players have a lot to look forward to on PUBG Console Patch 6.2, including cross party play and the debut of the all new Team Deathmatch game mode.
The latest patch will also feature additional WorldOriginShift optimizations to prevent the game from crashing repeatedly on console, as some players have already experienced on PUBG Console Patch 6.1.
