PUBG Console Update 5.1 Adds Vending Machines to Miramar and Camp Jackal

PUBG Console Update 5.1 patch notes went live Wednesday a week after its PC counterpart announced the changes.

PUBG Update 5.1 kicks off PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS Season 5 with a new Survivor Pass, changes to Miramar and more. As the second oldest map in PUBG, fans were excited to find out it was receiving balance changes following Erangel's successful revival.

Outside of item balancing and a race track, Vending Machines were spread across the map. Here's everything you need to know.

PUBG Console Update 5.1 Adds Vending Machines to Miramar and Camp Jackal

Vending Machines

  • Vending machines have been placed in Miramar and Camp Jackal to provide a new looting experience other than picking up items spawned on the floor.
  • Vending Machines dispense Energy Drinks and Painkillers
  • Vending Machines are only available in Miramar and Camp Jackal
  • Vending Machines spawn randomly at set locations in Miramar
  • Vending Machines always spawn at the warehouse and gas station in Camp Jackal
  • Vending Machines can dispense multiple Energy Drinks at once
  • Be careful when using vending machines for cover. They're protected by cutting-edge anti-theft technology, and any attempt to damage the machine might expose your location to enemies.

PUBG Console Update 5.1 hits live servers Oct. 29.
