PUBG Console Update 5.1 Now Live on PlayStation 4, Xbox One

PUBG console update 5.1 went live Tuesday kicking off Season 5 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Console Update 5.1 introduces changes to Miramar, a new map feature and a new Survivor Pass entitled Badlands among other changes. PUBG Season 5 also marks a new start in PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS where console players will receive updates in a more timely manner following their PC big brother.

PUBG Console Update 5.1 Now Live on PlayStation 4, Xbox One
Leading the way in Update 5.1 are item balance changes to Miramar and new Vending Machines. Assault rifles, sniper rifles, scopes and more received an increased spawn ration while pistols were reduced. In addition, a Gold Mirado and race track were added to spice things up.
Vending Machines were added to Miramar and Camp Jackal providing players with a new way to get energy drinks and painkillers. According to PUBG Corp, these vending machines have anti-theft technology that might warn enemies of your location.
Other major changes include throwing melee weapons, new community missions and more.
PUBG console update 5.1 is now live on PlayStation 4, Xbox One. Update 5.1 is also live on PC.
