PUBG Corp has changed the bullet drop trajectory of the KAR98K without telling the community. The news isn't shared from PUBG Corp post, or a blog update, or even patch notes.
YouTuber WackyJacky101 created a video, and showed off the changes. From the multiple tests at different ranges, you can see the bullet doesn't drop nearly as much and players need to adjust accordingly.
PUBG Corp Changes Bullet Drop of KAR98K Without Telling Community
What's even more frightening is it might have been a mistake. PUBG_Hawkinz posted a reply on Reddit stating, "Looking into this, will update when I hear back from the team with more information." This may have been an unlooked error, which took someone in the community to test and find out. If this video wasn't made. Players may have been wondering why their sniper shots have been off.
It's crazy to think the accuracy of a weapon can go unnoticed. Who knows how long this has been going on either. PUBG has a lot going for it, but bugs and inconsistent patch work is not one of them.
On top of that, PUBG has a mass amount of cheaters still in play, and no matter how many PUBG Corp bans, they still tend to sneak in.
