A PUBG fan compared the old Vikendi map with the new reworked Vikendi. While everyone maybe focused on the new train, PUBG Corp went to town on reworking the whole map.

The company removed some of the villages sprinkled around the map and consolidated some landmarks on top of one another. Like the Abbey was moved toward the top of Mt. Kreznic. And cities like Tovar and Movatra were removed altogether.

While the snow map did have a better response than Miramar, it still had its issues. The map was too spread out, there wasn't enough loot, the terrain needed some work, and simply stated, the map needed a polish. After PUBG Corp reworked Erangel, it was only a matter of time before they touched up every map. Miramar was next as it was the least popular of the maps. It needed a lot of work and PUBG Corp focused on it for some time.

Sanhok just needed a few touch ups, but now Vikendi is done. Players can start playing on the reworked map next season, but until then, you can watch Twitch streamers mess with the new train.
