PUBG Lazarus Leads the Way Heading Into PGC Grand Final
By Nathan Fusco

Lazarus had a fantastic semifinal performance and took the first seed heading into the grand finals. The team earned 106 points while the next closest team had 97 points.
The team had favorable circles in most of their matches which can make or break any team. They even had a bone-crunching fight against FaZe Clan, wiping the enemy team.
Here were the winners of each semifinal:
Match 1 (Erangel) – Lazarus
Match 2 (Erangel) – QM
Match 3 (Erangel) – QM
Match 4 (Sanhok) – Tempo Storm
Match 5 (Miramar) – Lazarus
Match 6 (Miramar) – FaZe Clan
Here are the 16 teams that qualified for the grand finals:
- Lazarus
- QM Gaming
- Four Angry Men
- Team SoloMid
- Global Esports Xsset
- VC Gaming
- WClick
- Tempo Storm
- Gen.G esports
- OGN Entus Force
- OGN Entus Ace
- Natus Vincere
- Genesis
- The Rumblers
- T1
- FaZe Clan
FaZe Clan has to be the biggest surprise of the tournament and not in a good way. Considered to be one of the most talented teams in PUBG, the brand almost missed out on qualifying all together. The team had one chance in the last match and it responded with a map win.
The grand finals will be roughly the same format as the semifinals, but with less teams. There will be twelve total matches over two days (six each day). Whoever scores the most points wins $1 million dollars. The finals will begin on Nov. 23.
