PUBG Lite is unavailable in your region. So says the error message when you try to run the less resource intensive version of the classic mobile battle royale. Is the error message correct? Is there a way to circumvent it? Here's what you need to know.
PUBG Lite is Unavailable in Your Region: What Does That Mean?
PUBG Lite first began testing in Thailand in January. Since then, the app has expanded to regions in South Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. Still, it has yet to reach North America, preventing many players from enjoying it without jumping through hoops.
If you're hoping to play outside the listed regions, you'll only be able to do so with the help of a virtual private network, or VPN. VPNs can disguise where your device is located, allowing you to access otherwise region-locked content.
There are plenty of VPNs for Android products, including NordVPN, Private Internet Access VPN and TunnelBear VPN. Once you find one that works for you, you should be able to play PUBG Lite problem-free.
