PUBG Player Sets the Perfect Trap But Gets Screwed by Lag
By Max Mallow

Sometimes in PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS, the best laid traps reap the best rewards. Other times, it's predictable and you get outplayed because of it. And then, impossible to account for, players get screwed over by a lag spike.
That's exactly what happened to PUBG Console Reddit user greggsand. He laid the perfect trap to snag an easy kill, but fate proved to have a different plan.
Check out the clip below.
PUBG Player Sets the Perfect Trap But Gets Screwed by Lag
Greggsand, apparently known in game as DrPartytime, is hiding in a building as an enemy approaches.
Whether or not it's camping is irrelevant to what actually transpires in the clip. As the enemy approaches, they clear the room across the hall to DrPartytime but moves on thinking they're safe from enemies.
DrPartytime then moves out to go secure the easy kill when a lag spike prevents them from doing so. The enemy player turns around, takes care of DrPartytime, moving on to play out the rest of the game.
Truly disappointing for a play that was sure to work.
