Community missions, available to players with or without the premium pass, will present challenges the entire PUBG community can tackle collectively. Special cardboard boxes scattered around Miramar will hold DVDs and pieces of DVDs that will add to the mission accomplishment gauge. Fulfilling the mission will earn players an in-game skin and reveal lore around Miramar.
Season missions will have two tracks: Melee and Badlands. Melee Track missions will require melee weapons and reward two melee weapon skins. Badlands Track missions will have more miscellaneous content and award two Miramar-related skins.
Progression missions will give high XP rewards through three mission tracks. Two will be available for all players and will feature tasks of gradually increasing difficulty. A third will be reserved for Premium Pass owners.
Finally, challenge missions reward the use of specific weapons.
Survivor Pass: Badlands hits PUBG alongside changes to Miramar, newly added vending machines and more. The patch arrives on PC live servers Oct. 23 and console live servers Oct. 29, according to a press release from PUBG Corp.
