PUBG Update 8.3 Introduces Jammer Packs

PLAYERKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS Update 8.3 added an interesting item that could completely change how players play around the Blue Zone. The Jammer Pack grants immunity from the Blue Zone for a certain amount of time which could provide interesting gameplay.

PUBG Update 8.3 Introduces Jammer Packs

PUBG Update 8.3 is the final update of Season 8 and PUBG Corp has rightfully added new items and features that are certain to turn some heads. The Jammer Pack is a rare item that can only be found on Sanhok and Karakin in Normal and Custom Matches. The pack temporarily prevents players from taking damage from the Blue Zone, however, it is not permanent. A energy bar will popup on the screen indicating how much power is left in the pack and after the energy is depleted, the Jammer Pack turns into a regular backpack.

There are several things to note when picking up the Jammer Pack. It is a powerful item but it also comes at the expense of level three bag space. Additionally, as the game progresses and the damage dealt by the Blue Zone increases, the energy depleted from the Jammer Pack will also increase.

The Jammer Pack does not seem to be an early game item as the Blue Zone hardly poses a threat but from the mid to late game, when escaping from the blue circle or attempting to end a one on one for the chicken dinner, this item holds immense potential.
