PUBG Weapon Tier List April 2020: The World of M249

PUBG weapon tier list for April 2020 is important for many reasons. With the recent change to the M249, it has become the king of PUBG, simply because it's so accessible compared to the other "crate" weapons. While it's still a head-scratching decision by PUBG Corp to move the M249 to floor loot, it's the world we live n now, and you best believe the winners of chicken dinner have the M249. It's not hard to find the ridiculousness of the M249 on Reddit.

But what about the other weapons? The tier list for April is much like March with a few changes here and there.

PUBG Weapon Tier List April 2020

S Tier

  • AWM
  • M249
  • Groza

The M249 was added to floor loot in Update 6.3 and it's the best gun in the game. While the Groza and other weapons might be more beneficial in certain scenarios, it's good in a lot of places.

A Tier

  • M24
  • KAR98
  • SKS
  • SLR
  • Mini 24
  • Tommy Gun

As you can see, a lot of the ranged weapons are in this tier as snipers are still the most important part of PUBG. The Tommy Gun received an upgrade, and it can be pretty powerful, especially in close quarters or building battles. Don't under estimate it at the start of a match.

B Tier

  • AKM
  • M416
  • M16
  • Scar
  • QBZ
  • mK47 Mutant
  • M762

C Tier

  • S187
  • Micro Uzi
  • UMP9
  • Vector
  • DP-28
  • VSS

Some of the situational weapons make this tier, but there is a big drop off from B Tier.

D Tier

Every other weapon in the game lands in this tier and shouldn't be used unless you have no other choice.
