Raid Week 2019 Pokemon Go: Everything You Need to Know

Raid Week 2019 Pokemon Go is the game's latest special event, giving players a chance test their battle skills and earn rewards. The battles, bonuses and rewards are wide-ranging, so here's what you need to know about the event.

Raid Week 2019 Pokemon Go: Everything You Need to Know
Pokémon Go's Extraordinary Raid Week 2019 is scheduled to take place from 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, until the same time Tuesday, May 28. During the week players will be able to go on four different levels of raids.
Here are the Pokémon that will be available at each level of raid:
- One Star: Machop, Slakoth, Shinx and Bronzor (Shiny Bronzor will also have a chance to appear)
- Two Stars: Misdreavus, Kirlia, Mawile, Feebas, Clamperl and Bibarel
- Three Stars: Alolan Raichu, Chansey, Scyther, Aerodactyl and Floatzel
- Four Stars: Alolan Marowak, Dragonite, Tyranitar, Absol and Metagross
Raid Hour will take place Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. according to your local time. During this hour, raids of all levels will become more common.
Players will also get a shot at a special Lapras raid from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, according to local time. The Asia-Pacific region will have to wait until Sunday for a shot at the same raid. During the Lapras raid, Lapras will join Raid Battles. Players will receive up to five Raid Passes from Gyms at no cost and, during the raids, they'll have a chance to encounter Shiny Lapras.
Throughout the week, players will receive double Raid Stardust and Raid XP.
