Red Dead Redemption 2 PC exited unexpectedly bugs have marred the series's debut on the platform, and developer Rockstar Games has been forced to scramble for a solution to the problem. After many hours of unpredictable crashes, Rockstar appears to have fixed the problem.

According to a support page built specifically in response to the crash reports, the most common cause of these unexpected exit errors is outdated graphics drivers. Rockstar recommends updating your drivers before trying to run Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC.

Rockstar has also pushed out an update to the game and to the Rockstar Games' launcher in its attempts to solve the crashes. Both updates require restarts.

Players continue to report different problems with Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC, including everything from FPS drops to infinite loading screens, and Rockstar continues to patch in fixes.
